Goolwa project

Goolwa renovation and subdivision of two land lots

This project was a huge project. Me and my JV partner bought the house off market. It was a hoarder house and we agreed to purchase the house with all of the owners belongings so they can transition and downsize to their new house without having to clear up the old house. Due to illness in the family the house was rather neglected and in very much disrepair. Being a corner block our plan was to stack strategies by renovating the house but also subdividing the backyard and side of the house to create two land lots. The project was challenging in that it took a lot of labour to just clear the house and the sheds to belongings. There was also two  asbestos sheds that needed to be professionally removed. Being a regional town we also had to extend the sewer lines to give sewage access to the newly created blocks. We had a fantastic team of land surveyor, civil engineer, civil contractors as well as my regular renovating team and they worked really well together to finish this project in time. I absolutely adore this house and one day planning on owning stone bungalow just like this. I loved designing the kitchen and the bathroom and being able to bring old world charm in to this beautiful house. We also got suburb record for house and the land lots. This was a very successful project and all of money partners and JV partners received a very nice profit.
