This unit was in a quite a neglected state when we bought it. There was Asbestos walls in bathroom and kitchen and in the flooring of the kitchen that had to be removed by professionals before we could start any of the other work. The bathroom had lot of damage from years of leaking taps. We started renovating this unit by completely demolishing the bathroom and kitchen. My good friend, Gina, helped me paint the whole unit. We drove very early morning in the winter time through Adelaide hills to paint the unit for two weeks. It was hard work but also lot of fun with Gina helping me. After a cosmetic renovation I sold this property my self for a suburb record price. A lovely couple bought it as their first home. I loved renovating this unit and restoring it to a beautiful and cosy home. This was my most profitable project to date.
